I need Adobe Digital Edition 1.7, how can I get it?

I downloaded the updated Adobe [4.5] and uninstalled the 1.7

Now I can not transfer any of my digital books.

The Adobe site says that if I had both installed and uninstalled it they then disassociate the EPUB and ASCM files...

Help!
