Import of ACSM file

With the latest Versin 4.0.3 of ADE I and Windows 8.1 get the error message "Error! Check Activation" when I try to import an ACSM file. I bought the book in my book store like I did all the time with a previous version of ADE and Windows 7. Why does it not work any longer?
