Incorrect login ID or password

I'm trying to authorize my computer in ADE to transfer e-books. However when I enter my Adobe ID and password, it says "Incorrect ID or password for the selected vendor ID". I have selected Adobe as the vendor ID and tried resetting my password numerous times and nothing seems to be working.
