Installing ADE on public PCs

If we installed ADE on our public computers - for student and staff use, would they be able to use it securely to look at their downloaded journal articles - or would other people that subsequently log into that PC have access to everyones downloaded articles?

Basically, if multiple users used one PC where ADE was installed, would they all have access to each others documents? Would this be secure/legal?
