Installing Adobe Digital editions

I think I have downloaded it on to my computer, but it will not open.  I do not know what I am doing wrong.  I have not seen the Getting Started page it says should come up. How do I fix this?

    What exactly happens when you try to install or launch ADE? Do you get any error message or something?

    Try to download and install ADE 2.0 from the below link and check if that helps.
