Issue accessing document on Digital Editions App

Hello,

I am trying to open a document on Adobe Digital Editions, yet when I do so I receive the following error message,

"Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: W_ADEPT_CORE_EXPIRED".

I double-checked that the date and time on my laptop are up to date.  I also made sure that my laptop is authorized. 

I don't know what else to do.

If someone could please advise, it  would be greatly appreciated.
