Issues Installing Adobe Digital Editions on Windows 10 Enterprise

Dear community members, 

I am having issues with Adobe Digital Editions (both 3.0 and 4.5) ever since installing it on my Lenovo Thinkpad X13, running Windows 10 Enterprise. 

After finishing the installation, ADE keeps shutting down automatically after running it for maybe 5 seconds. All I see is the loading cursor, and then the ADE just shuts down. 

I have been having this issue both with ADE 3.0 and 4.5. And yes, I have tried to reinstall and reauthorize the app several times. 

Can somebody recommend some way to get out? I have paid a big amount of money for an Ebook and I am desperate to run it on ADE!
