It deleted all my notes...

Hello, I need a hand

All my books disappeared from my library all at once but I managed to get them back one by one, however all the notes and bookmarks I had made are gone now (because the books were tagged as "new" when they reappeared ). It took me a long time to write them all. Is there a way to get my notes back?
