it dosent work anymore

My adobe digital edition

doesnt work anymore.when i click to start,  A white window appear and thats it notting happens. I ve unisntalled and re installed  and the problem is not resolved. What can I doo

    I have been having all kinds of problems with ADE since upgrading to Windows 10.  Sometimes it would work if I ran it as administrator.  Other times I would have to go into my admin account and download books from there.  With the latest round of Windows 10 updates nothing would work to download books from my Public Library.  I finally uninstalled yet again & from the ADE software download page I chose to download ADE 3.0, I know it is a very outdated download, but I can now borrow books from my library again.  Hope this helps.
