You can change your Adobe password  in your Adobe account page on the web. But be very cautious, doing so may not be recognized by ADE. We had to revert to version 4.0 from 4.5 and Adobe support had to deauthorize my computer install of ADE 4.0 so I could reauthorize with my current Adobe password. Looking at the chat transcript it took 1 hour and 46 minutes to solve.

Just spent 1.5 hours on chat. Solved by a great support person. They had to do it at their end. Often due to a password change that Adobe doesn't change internally to match your account change.

Get on chat and keep them going!
