Just bought new MacBook Air, downloaded ADE 4.0, downloaded library book, plugged my Nook into computer. Every time I try to move book onto Nook, ADE closes. Any thoughts?

Does anyone have any suggestions about why ADE quits every time I try to move a book just downloaded from the library onto my Nook? Thank you for any help.
