Keep getting the error: E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED

I downloaded Digital Editions and authorized it before I downloaded a book that was sent to my email as an .ascm file. I keep getting the message

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED

I already uninstalled the program, deauthorized it and authorized it again. Erased all the .ascm files from my computer and tried to download them again and Keep getting the same error. What do I do?? Really need to get this problem solved, I urgently need to work on those files....
