Hello,

I am having problems with my Kobo Reader. I downloaded a file to the Adobe Digital Editions and transferred the book to my Kobo. I unplug my Kobo and try to access the book but it says it need to be unlocked using the Adobe ID. We have logged in and the ID was accepted. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. ??

    The Adobe ID need to be authorized for both (1) the computer/ADE (Dgitial Editions) and (2) for the device (Kobo)

    Maybe you have done the first but not the second?

    To make sure the second is ok, menu/Help/Authorize Device once ADE is authorized and the device is plugged in.

    Somebody else (SydneyW) had a similar issue even after all the authorizations appeared to be OK,

    and resolved it by a factory reset of the Kobo.

    Before factory reset, make sure any books on the Kobo are safely held elsewhere as the reset will wipe them.
