Kobo Arc7HD

Having problems downloading my epub books from my ADE on my mac to my new Kobo Arc7HD.  I was told if I downloaded the Android File Transfer, it should work.  It doesn't.  The Kobo finds it but at the end of the Import, it tells me there is an error.
