Kobo authorization problems

I have a Kobo H2o. I have dowloaded many books from my pubic library using Adobe Digital Editions. Now, when I try to open a dowloaded book, I get "Your eReader is not authorized to open this book". When I check my "Accounts" settings, it confirms that my Kobo is authorized with Adobe. I have "deauthorized" my account many times and "Authorized" it again, I have even deauthorized my computer and erased Adobe and reloaded it again. I have done a factory reset 3 times and even tried a different computer. Can anyone help me figure this out please?
