Kobo Glo not detected by ade

I have a kobo Glo. I have downloaded ade 4.5. My computer is authorized. ADE is not detecting my kobo ereader. I have tried the basic reset that kobo suggested and that has not worked. Any ideas? I ma using Windows 10. I previously had a sony reader and did not have this issue.
