Library book won't open on Nook Glowlight 3

After downloading a library book to ADE to my Nook Glowlight 3, the book won't open.  "Error opening book. This book is not activated for current ADE user".  Have tried redownloading ADE and reauthorizing both my lap top and Nook.  Barnes and Noble says issue is with ADE and my computer.

What can I do?

You can open the eBook in Adobe Digital Edition?

yes, I can open in ADE and move to my Nook but can't on Nook
