Licence acceptance popup reappearing

Question

I have installed and activated Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 on various computers and it works everywhere as expected. However, on one PC a popup is periodically reappearing, asking me to accept the licence. When I do so, Digital Editions is reinstalled, but the popup appears again after a few minutes. have uninstalled all Adobe Software, cleared all Adobe keys in the registry and all files containing Adobe in the filename on all disks. Nevertheless, the popup keeps reappearing and is blocking so far the installation of PlatformIO on said PC.
Any helpful Advice?

I have exactly the same Problem as described by "AnnerösODS44" and woukd also much appreciate any helpful suggestions.
