Login failure Adobe ID (Adobe DRM) on Pocketbook Verse Pro

Hi all,

I just bought an E-reader (Pocketbook Verse Pro) and tried to open an acsm-file from a german library (onleihe). When I click on the book I'm asked to log in with my Adobe ID, but I always receive the notive that an error has occured with the authorization (E_STREAM_ERROR: CURL returned 60(3C)). Nevertheless, I'm 100% sure the login and password is correct. Could anyone help me with that problem? Thanks!

    Hi, I run into the same issue. Does anyone know how to get this solved?

    I complained to Pocketbook and got a reply that they could reproduce the
    problem. They said that it's a problem between their server and Adobe's
    server. Their suggestion is to wait a bit and try again at a later stage.
    No idea how long it will take, maybe until the warranty period is over...

    My guess is that they messed up the sync with the latest update.

    I will then also make the complaint to Pocketbook, let's see if they will take it more serious and will take required (and quick action) if more people bring this up.

    After updating Verse Pro to latest firmware version U634.6.9.815 I experience the same problem on 2 devices with different Adobe accounts: 2 different ones which were provided by Pocketbook Account and 1 other Adobe account I created and used in the past. 

    It's so upsetting to have to deal with these things just to read some books...

    Hey, 

    same problem here with my new Pocketbook Era. 
    I try to add the account under Settings but always get the same error as you. 

    I contacted Pocketbook support. This was their answer: 

    "Der Adobe-Server ist derzeit stark überlastet, was zu Verzögerungen und Problemen beim Autorisieren/Herunterladen von Dateien führt.
    Bitte versuchen Sie es später. Vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis!"

     

    But it would be great to know when the issues are gone. Currently I can't read any of my books and can't use the Onleihe and Libby as well.
