MAC: IO Error on Network Request - only with Google Play ebook/pdf downloads

I have no issue downloading ebooks from other sources into ADE, however when I download acsm's for books from Google Play, either for pdf or ebook, I receive this error. I also have no firewall and have updated ade and restarted.

    This siolution, worked for me:

    1. Uninstall ADE and remove it from the trash.
    2. Restart your computer.
    3. Downloaded  latest ADE from Adobe’s website and install it
    4. Authorized my computer in ADE using the HELP menu and selecting “Authorize Computer…”

    After you've gone through the above steps, try downloading the title again.
