MAJOR problem activating/authorizing Error

when i try to activate&/authorize my Digital editions I get the Following Error

Activation Server error

code: E_AUTH_NOT_READY

digital editions encountered an error on the activation server.

then it says cancel or try again

l know my user id and my password but i just can NOT get to authorize my pc

does any one have any idea what to do????

    It seems Adobe Digital Editions has multiple problems.  I spent hours on the authorization issue and finally uninstalled ADE and then downloaded it again and started fresh.  This worked for me.  Good luck!!!!

    I have uninstalled it and redownloaded it many times and still get the same problem.
