Media Overlays do not work on Android

I have been very frustrated with Adobe 4.5.1 on Android 5.1.1.  Media overlays, specifically, read audio (not TTS) synchronized with text, does not work at all.  It works fine on all iOS devices.

Does anyone else have this problem?
