My computer and ipad will recognize my email and password, but not my sony reader. Can anyone help? i use this to download books directly onto my reader from the library!

My main computer and my ipad will both recognize my email address and sign in name. However my sony reader suddenly will not. I used to be able to download books directly onto my reader instead of transferring them.Great for when I am away at work. Any suggestions? Thanks
