My window 8.1 computer won't recognize my Nook Glowlight?

Hi,

I changed my email address.  My windows 7 computer will recognize my Nook Glow Light. I bought a new computer and set up ADE.  The new computer will nor recognize the Nook Glow Light be cause he emaill address is differenet on the Nook Glow Light.  how do I get my Windows 8.1 computer to recognize the Nook?
