My name is Erin Moulton and I work for a non-profit in Portland, OR. We support the opening of public preschools within public school settings. We are looking for some advice about self publishing our beautiful book. It is a curriculum support for Early Learning Educators Prek-1st Grade. We are looking for guidance in how to self publish our field guide in ebook form as well as small format printing. Is there someone who might suggest possible things we should consider or other organizations we could take it to as well as give us an estimate of cost and best next steps?

I wouldn't bother with Adobe Digital Editions it will only cause angst and frustration with readers on Apple products - read the reviews on the Apple Apps site.

You've posted in the Adobe Content Server forum. Adobe Content Server is used to publish ebooks with DRM protection. You might like to know the price. I don't have up to date info, but in 2013 it was $10,000 one time plus $1,500 per year. You would also need a dedicated internet server to run it on, and an experienced adminintrator for that. If this is not what you conceived of, you might like to know that most authors are not publishers in this sense, but go to someone offering a publishing service.

Content Server also has nothing to do with printed copies.
