Need to read Digital Edition eBook on Android

I have a generic eBook reader on the Android platform that can read Digital Edition eBooks.  I borrowed an eBook from the library.  It only come in digital edition format (bummer!).  My generic eBook reader is asking for a digital edition Id and password.  Would those be the ones I use to logon to the library?
