New hard drive - can no longer transfer ebooks to my Kobo

I had a new hard drive installed in my computer and need to authorize with my Adobe ID  for 'Overdrive' but when I do so I have the message that says :" you can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used by any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again."

I have the same issue. Why isn't this issue being addressed? How do we get the information we need to authorize the computer
