New password won't work

Like the subject said. Forgot it, reset it, doesn't work.  Can't download EPub content to OverDrive Media Console without authorization from Adobe. Spent the last TWO HOURS just trying to get a library book onto my tablet. How do I fix it?

    Some Adobe DRM software does not tolerate special characters in passwords,

    even though Adobe will let you create such a password and use it in some places.

    Try a weaker password (with Adobe's famed security probably no less secure than a stronger one).
