Nook erroneously says a book has been returned to the library

I've been using ADE 4.5.  I download library books into my PC and then copy them to my Nook.  The last two times I've tried this, my Nook then tells me the book has been returned and won't open it.  How do I fix this?

    Error with different eBooks? Often its only a problem with a current eBook. Have you try it if other eBook of the Library work?
