i have a new NOOK HD, and it is not listed as a compatible device for ADE.  Are there plans to include this device?

You should be able to read Adobe DRM ebooks using the Bluefire app.

Maks sure Bluefire is registered with the same AdobeID as your PC/Mac ADE,

and copy the files across from the PC/Mac.

    Moved to Adobe Digital Editions.

Adobe doesn't usually pre-announce features or supported platforms. If you want it supported then you need to contact Barnes and Noble and perhaps Google, since the Nook is an Andriod device. You can also place a feature request with Adobe here:

Adobe usually has not issue on supporting different platforms, but for these tablet devices support from the vendor is usually required as B & N and Amazon in the case of the Kindle are in the business of selling books. Allowing competing platforms aren't necessarily in their interest.
