not able to authorize adobe id with overdrive

I am having a problem with authorizing my adobe id that is linked to overdrive/library.  While I am in Overdrive, I try to download ePub books to my ipad that I have checked out from my library. However, it tells me I need to authorize my adobe ID first: which is lohill09@gmail.com. I enter the information....no error message and no message telling me it is "authorizing". It takes me back to overdrive. I then try to download book again and it sends me through the exact same process. This id worked last week. Trouble with it now for some reason.
