Not able to download and install Adobe Digital Editions

Greetings,

I cannot get Adobe Digital Editions to download and install. It stopped working about a month ago and I was able to use it by deleting and reloading ADE. Now every time I try to load ADE I get a black square with an orange border and the phrase “Loading Library”. (see image below) So far I have tried deleting and reloading, going to “authorizing and de-authorizing” it did nothing as ADE does not download, I even deleted my Adobe account and reloaded using my wife’s email.

Just FYI I have communicated with 5 Adobe techs and gotten NO HELP

Please help me as this is one of our primary ways of passing the time IE reading ebooks that we download from several different libraries.
