Not able to find a file on Bookshelves

Hi all,

I downloaded a book on my desktop in my user name.  However, when I go on my laptop to access it on digital editions, it does not appear.  Both are checked to automatically sync all books.  Additionally, I am logged on via the same username for both.  I would really appreciate some insight into this.
