I had this problem and checked my system status. Some drivers needed updating. I did that and it fixed it. Good luck!

This is happening to me too 4 years on. Has anyone found a solution besides just using a non-windows device?

I have the same problem with 4.5.11 on a new laptop.

Same problem, if you look through this discussion thread users have been reporting this problem for weeks.  It doesn't appear anyone from Adobe monitors these discussions to take action and correct.

I use desktop with Win 10 PRO (v.20H2) and laptop with Win 10 Home (v.21H1)
The problem at not turning pages is only at Home version

I am having the same problem. The page forward and back arrows are disabled. Also, I can't bring up the table of contents in the navbar and so in order to page through the book I have to scroll up and down on the touchpad. Maddening.

I posted a similar problem, then saw others who had done the same; it's infuriating that Adobe has taken the attitude of 'screw you', while still marketing DRM as a good solution. Over the course of my subscriptions to Adobe products, I've paid thosands of dollars to the company (a personal user), and this is how they handle things?
