Same problem for me,

I have switched to windows 10 recently. I was using  ADE 4.0 before with windows 7 without any problems...

As I could not get it to work anymore (ADE 4.0), I erase it and try to reinstall it (ADE 4 or ADE 4.03), I can put the installer on my computor but when I get it to execute it freezes and I hear the Ding at the same time.

Need more information>  What Operating system?  How old is the computer?  What version of ADE are you trying to install?  On an older windows XP machine with an AMD processor I had to install ADE version 1.72 as all the later versions wouldn't install.
