on June 4th 2015, ADE 4 stopped responding

Hi, thanks for your help. ADE does not open anymore, when I click on it, he small icon goes to the bottom of the computer, but no image on the screen. I tried today to download a book. It looks like it did, from the recent titles I can see by right clicking the icon, but nothing else happens... Should I reinstall it? Where could I check? I opened services, but nothing there with ADE. Help, please!
