Opening a DRM protected book on my Kobo

I have Kobo Glo which has worked well for many months.  I recently recharged it in my car and when opening a book I have been reading was told  "oops! This document couldn't be opened"

Then went on to explain that it is protected by Digital Rights Managment (DRM).

How on earth do I get back to reading?
