OS X Yosemite: ADE 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 all crash upon opening

Is this a Yosemite thing? Has anyone else experienced this? If you fixed it, what did you do? Is there a bit of the error log that I can copy and paste in here to help diagnose? Is this just going to get fixed in the next few days?

I'm not 100% sure it's caused by Yosemite because I hadn't used ADE for many weeks prior to the update, but it's the only major thing I can think of that's changed.

In the mean time, is there any other program that can open .acsm files on a Mac running Yosemite?

I'm having the same issue. MAC Yosemite and ADE 4.0 - crashing when I try to open a library book. Also crashing when I try to copy a book to my ereader. Very frustrating and I can't read my library books now. Might try an older version of ADE next, although uninstalling on the MAC is tricky it seems. I've uninstalled and installed and still see the same books.

    I just downloaded yet another ePub book and it worked fine - on 3.0.  Perhaps a call to Apple support?  Very frustrating I know!

    Nahh, they'll just tell me it's a third-party app and they can't do anything about it. But thank you anyway.

    I actually had luck with ADE 3.0....so far, so good.....

    I just retried 3.0, but nope - it still crashes about 3 seconds after it opens.

      I updated to 4.0.1 and still it crashes upon opening.

        Ditto......New Mac user and have been unable to open .acsm files on the Mac - with Mavericks OR Yosemite.  Not even sure my public library can help.....any ideas?    anyone?
