Page Navigation Method for Easy Reading in ADE?

Is there a way to advance my reading position better than what I've tried so far?  What I've tried so far is kind of a joke for a reading application.

I can scroll down the page, which is very slow, I can use the arrow key to scroll but only one line at a time and it beeps every time, or I can use the fn/arrow up or down keys to sort of advance a page, except usually it goes too far and then I have to scroll up.

So far it's really a terrible reading experience, but not everybody must find that?
