Pages are not changing

Just started using the software. I have been able to open the book up but when I try to scroll up or down it does not even change pages. I can see the page numbers move at the bottom but the pages it self is not even changing. I have re-installed countless times but still does the same thing.

This app is slow like really slow it keeps hanging for me a very unpleasant experience while reading a book never expected this from a company like Adobe.
