Pages of my e-books are turning in my ADE 4.5.11

Hi all,

I am new to this, I had to download the ADE for my studies and downloaded my study e-books. All books downloaded but I cannot turn pages! So frustrating, not to mention that I on a deadline for my exams! I have read the previous advice about de-activating and re-activating and this did not work, please help. thank you
