Persistence of ADE Library

Greetings.

How persistent is the ADE Library? Is it going to "survive" an ADE deinstall? I found out some time ago that the ADE-Installer does NOT remove any older versions (at least not on Windows) and that I've got to manually deinstall/remove the older version first. I most certainly do NOT want this to get rid of my Library! I'd like the new version to, after installation, pick up the Library.

I've tried to get an answer thru another post, but somehow an answer to that one doesn't seem to be forthcoming, so I'm trying it this way.
