PLEASE HALP, I want to deauthorize on my computer, and then re-authorize!

One of my two books I downloaded says "Error License Blah Blah", so I read online to deauthorize and then re-do it! Ctrl + Shift + D doesn't work! How do I do it on my HP Pavilion?? Thanks!
