Poor image quality - hard to read - much better quality in PDF - why?

Image quality is blurred hard to read, very poor, why bother giving this software, not worth using, child like software. PDF much better and the only way to go.

I agree - when i first used DE 5-6 years ago I thought it was pretty good, a nice if restrictive UI, and text seemed sharp enough.  Either it's degraded (which I doubt) or times have changed and DE is left way behind.  Returning to an ebook that I bought in DE only format, so had to use this interface, I find the text is terrible, blurred, and surely a strain on the eyes.  It's verging on criminal that we can't even take our purchased books and read them in a sharp updated version.  Sorry to see you've not been given a response on this yet, I hope Adobe will address it....
