Problem copying downloaded ebook to ereader

No problems in doing this on my desktop, but when I use my laptop, I get the response,"Copy not allowed - no permission to copy the book".

I have registered my adobe account in my laptop.Would appreciate assistance in rectifying this problem. Thanks.
