Problem getting newly purchased google book to ADE to Kobo ereader

Hi

It has been a while since I purchased a book on Google Books but I did today. I appears fine on my Google Play page.

My ADE program is up and running and it says I am authorized. I updated it as well.

My Kobo ereader is plugged in to the computer and shows on the ADE page. It is also updated. When I try to click on the new book to move it to ADE a little circle with a minus sign appears and nothing happens.

I could read the book on my laptop or phone but I do not want to do that.

What am I doing wrong or failing to do?

    I finally figured it out. In my Google books library, under the icon for the book I clicked on the three dots and could make an epub file which appeared in my downloads. I was able to transfer this to my ereader.
