Problem: Table of Contents links shrink pages

We have created an ebook using Indesign, and created an animated table of contents with links to pages within the document. When we use the pop up table of contents it jumps to the correct page, but the page size shrinks. ??? Why would this be? How can I resolve it? See screenshots below

It's weird, cause the ebook jumps to the right page in the view, but not in the reader itself... the image/view shows page 7 but the ebook reader shows page 3.
