Problem with ADE on Mac OS with Big Sur

I have a new Apple Macbook Air with the Big Sur operating system.  I was able to install the 4.5 version of ADE but cannot download any books from my library. I get an error:

Were you able to fix this issue with ADE and Big Sur?

 

I use ADE all the time and need to update my Mac to Big Sur but want to make sure ADE will work once I do.
