Problems to read/print E-Book in ADE

Hi,

I bought an E Book from the publisher Pearson. I can open it in the ADE App but cannot read beyond page 42 although the book has over 900 pages. Also printing on paper or printing to PDF is not possible. Pearson says that the E-Book is fine. Anyone ideas what the problem could be?
