Program won't open

Hello, I am having issues with Adobe Digital Editions. I updated my computer and now it won't open. I've updated, uninstalled, and reinstalled the app and the problem still exists. I looked for new updates for my computer, but it says none exist every time I check. I own a Lenovo edge 2 and use windows. Any solutions welcome! I need the program for my online textbook, so the sooner the better. Thanks.
